In its effort to recognize great leadership within the industries ASPI serves, the association offers two awards each year: the ASPI Excellence in Leadership Award and ASPI’s Customer Executive of the Year Award. These awards not only provide recognition for the recipient, they also promote ASPI’s mission of supporting industry performance.

ASPI has selected Matt Archambeau, vice president - COE/Technology at Verso Corp., as the recipient of the 2020 Excellence in Leadership Award. Established in 2010, this award recognizes outstanding leaders within the paper industry. ASPI members may nominate individuals they believe have demonstrated creative leadership in capital projects, mill transformation, grade changes, mill restructuring, and/or human resource management.

TAPPI conference proceedings and presentations, technical papers, and publication articles provide technical and management data and solutions on topics covering the Pulp, Paper, Tissue, Corrugated Packaging, Flexible Packaging, Nanotechnology and Converting Industries.
