Condensate Collection/Segregation, 1998 Cluster Rule Symposium Proceedings

This presentation reviews the kraft mill condensates that are subject to MACT 1 treatment. The volume of condensate treated and associated capital costs can be large unless the condensates are segregated into low volume, high HAP streams. A detailed condensate-sampling program can help insure that the optimum segregation techniques are selected. It can also serve as a basis for demonstrating compliance.
