Ballpark figures that have been used for years articulate the following: Based on the weight of the fiber Add 1% of TiO2—add 10% more dye Add 1% of Clay—add 4% more dye Add 1% of Calcium carbonate—add 5% more dye The dye manufacturers are also refining their figures based on the type of calcium carbonate.
