Avenor (formerly Canadian Forest Products), and Gotaverken Energy Systems Inc., a Kvaerner Pulping Company, have successfully commissioned a turnkey power boiler plant at the CPFP Mill in Gatineau, Quebec. The Installation includes boiler, fuel handling, electrostatic precipitator, distributed control, boiler house, and service systems.

The paper describes the experience from sludge and wood firing in the wood fired power at the Canadian Pacific Forest Industries, Ltd., (CPFP) Mill in Gatineau, Quebec.
