With the expanding use of computers in extrusion process, more and more process troubleshooting is left to
computer generated data. The purpose of this paper is to remind us that there are ways to improve and trouble shoot
our process without high tech computer generated data. The data from the computer, along with common sense and
experience can improve our operations.
