Robust MFC Grinding Modules & Wet End Jet Applicator—A Path to Disruptive Advantages from BioMaterials

A presentation of FiberLean MFC (micro-fibrillated cellulose) technologies and know-how for paper and boardmakers will offer insights into disruptive, robust grinding technology, the centerpiece of MFC modules in place—fully commercialized and scalable. You will also learn about surface application methodology to convert brown board to whitetop without a machine rebuild. In addition, the presenters will comment on the original MFC mix of minerals and MFC and the more recent advances with pure MFC and MFC from recycled fiber.

MFC recipes and know-how will be discussed for mills facing raw material cost increases and additive shortages while at the same time driven to produce higher value grades. This includes lightweighting, alternative natural barriers, and other sustainability advantages.
