The beginnings of the Corrugatd Containers Division must be told as written by the late Harry Bettendorf, the acknowledged historian of the corrugated industry. This article is reproduced from the August 1975 issue of Tappi. Bettendorf received the Corrugated Containers Division Award in 1971. He later established the Harry J. Bettendorf Prize, which is granted to the Division Awardee each year, the first such prize established in TAPPI.
