End-Users Roundtable
I’m concerned with the quality of the container material we get when it passes overseas, either importing or exporting. If you use a particular carton in the U.S., hand it to a supplier, and they follow the specifications, you get a certain performance out of that container. If you pass the same supplier specifications to one of your operations overseas, it doesn’t end up being shipped in the same format. How and why does that happen? It takes an awful lot to get that corrected, and a lot of the answers include, “That’s too much corrugated.” We’d like to figure out how to decrease the frequency of that.
