Maintaining level and alignment on your corrugator, Corrugating International, August 2004 (276KB)
As we move into the twenty first century, we have to recognize that the demands of our customers are ever increasing. The combined board sheets or boxes we produced a short five years ago are not meeting our customers’ specifications. We have to continually upgrade our operations and keep our equipment in far better mechanical condition than ever before. The range of liners and mediums produced today have changed to meet the performance demands of high performance boxes that utilize reduced basis weights and calipers. These changes are forcing us to learn a variety of new combining techniques to successfully produce the board quality demanded by our customer base. Our equipment must be kept in top condition, as most of the performance containerboard produced today is not as forgiving as what was produced a decade ago.
