Perspectives on packaging in a global economy, Corrugating International, March 2005

Mr. Correll addresses two recent shifts in the broadly changing global economy and how those trends affect our industry. The first significant change involves the addition of a very strong China and other Pacific Rim countries to the previous centers of economic attention, the U.S. and Europe. The second change is that we have become a much more demand-driven, customer oriented industry. Mr. Correll concludes that this is an excellent period of time to be involved in our industry. The opportunities have never been greater and the future never brighter.
