Paper recycling has now been practised for many decades in numerous countries across the world. The paper industry is counted among those branches who almost perfectly meet the expectations of society with respect to the sustainability of their raw material base, the environmental compatibility of their processes as well as the recyclability of their products and has done so for a long time. In particular the latter argument has dramatically improved the image of the paper industry throughout the last few years.
