Paper fiber recycling industry is diversified. The recycling process has to consider intended end-use of the recycled paper, the type and source of recycled fibers. In all cases the recycled fiber surfaces have to be compatible to form fiber to fiber bonds and the recycled fibers have to have adequate residual fiber strength to go through the paper making process and provide the recycled paper with the desired /prescribed paper strength.
