ABSTRACT ONLY
Papermakers can realize financial and ecological value from the conversion of cellulosic waste into bio-fuels. This presentation discusses the benefits of Eka Chemicals’ new, proprietary Enzyme Accelerant technology which lowers the financial and technical barriers to the production of bio-ethanol from waste cellulosic streams. Laboratory data illustrates that this technology significantly reduces the enzyme demand or accelerates the conversion process, enabling the cost effective conversion of waste cellulose to value added renewable materials.
