Lorentzen & Wettre introduces a new technology to measure and control pulp quality in-line. The L&W Fiber Quality Transmitter (FQT) measures standard fiber morphology properties directly from the pulp line at a sampling rate of up to 200 measurements per hour; making the L&W FQT very suitable for process control i.e., refiner control and stock prep control resulting in energy savings and improved paper machine runnability. Modeling is available for dewatering and/or strength properties.
