Metal wires have long been utilized as a conveyor style belt to support non-woven fibers during the drying stage of the non-woven process. In the last decade advanced improvements have been made to increase the longevity and performance of metal style belts. By modifying the chemical and physical characteristics of the raw material strands utilized to manufacture the non-woven belts, corrosion, abrasion, and fatigue resistance have been improved.
