The AF&PA Recovery Boiler Program continues to strive for the safe and reliable operation of recovery boilers. Training, maintenance and supervision are required to accomplish this task. The AF&PA Program has developed an industry-wide safety audit program, updated its reference manuals, its training program and guidelines for the safe operation of recovery boilers, in addition to continuing to sponsor research for these objects.
