During the past seven years, Orchids Paper Products Co. has been progressively investing in both the papermaking and converting sides of its tissue complex at Pryor, Okla., USA, and today operates one of the most technologically advanced bathroom tissue (BT), towel, and napkin production facilities in the world. Serving the private label, at-home sector, primarily within a 900-miles radius of Pryor, Orchids currently operates four tissue machines, the newest one starting up in 2006, and 11 highly automated converting lines, the most recent coming online in mid-2010.
