Estimation of process performance requires process data from which all abnormalities have been removed. The data cleaning and validation process should be automatic and on-line to make practical sense. It must also be easily configurable for different processes and applications. This paper describes the methodology, the software solution, and some mill examples of a service concept that deals with performance estimation, improvements and sustainability through a remote monitoring system.
