Technology transfer means going after what you want and what you believe in. You need to decide is how badly you want it, how much you believe in it, and how much are you willing to give of your time and intellect to achieve the potential that you see for yourself and for others. In my case, there were many late nights pouring over the case books, working two jobs while attending law school, preparing legal opinions while others slept, living in cheap basement apartments, buying my first car without a radio because it cost extra, putting in $5 of gas at a stop. As I began my family I found myself sacrificing my career, so that I could have dinner with my family, go to school events, and be an involved parent in my sons’ lives.
