As new tissue machines ramp-up production following a wave of investment activity, the North American tissue industry has once more undergone a period of change. In response to heightened consumer and commercial demand for higher quality products at a competitive price, producers have responded with four new TAD (through-air-dry) machines installed since 2011, and key investments in new ATMOS technology, designed to prOduce high quality recycled products.
