This research being reported on here has focused on expanding our understanding of the structure of the soy hull, the development of a process to generate and purify soy hull based cellulose, the development of an enhanced understating of the structure of soy hull derived cellulose, studies of modified forms based on soy hull derived cellulose and studies into potential uses for the unique form of cellulose developed under the program.
