Do you know where Sumter, SC, is located? I didn’t either—until I had the pleasure of visiting there recently for the first time. The genesis of the adventure began nearly three years ago, sparked by a conversation I had with Larry Rocco, vice president of sales and marketing for Thompson Industrial Services LLC. Larry told me that after more than 25 years with his former company he’d made a career change to join the Thomson team, and I started asking questions.
