The utilization of the original turbine equipment may be different than when it was first supplied new. An audit of the new plant requirements can suggest dramatic changes in available steam, reallocation of process steam and varying demand for electrical output. Many of the turbine systems have never been modified and can be re-optimized to fit within the new manufacturers’ product profile.
