The Influence of Recycled Pulp from Post Consumer Beverage Cartons on Paper Strength for Card Boxes Production, 2016 Pulping, Engineering, Environmental, Recycling, Sustainability (PEERS) Conference Proceedings
This work compares the mechanical resistance in papers produced with OCC (old corrugated containers) and post consumer beverage cartons. RCT (Ring Crush Test), CMT (Concora Medium Test) were evaluated for a range of grammages Also tensile, burst and tear index were measured and evaluated. The study shows the benefits of using fibers from used beverage cartons as raw material in the production of corrugated paper for card boxes.
