It mustbe well-controlled if advanced controls such as Compensated Brightness, Compensated Kappa Factor, and ModelPredictive Control are to perform to their full capability. This paper reviews the reasons why pH is so important, thechallenges associated with its measurement and control, and strategies for overcoming those challenges in ClO2stages.
