Meet the 2019  PPI Awards Winners, Paper360 May/June 2019

Representing industry leaders from around the world, nominees of the 2019 PPI Awards gathered recently for a gala ceremony. The PPI Awards honor leadership, vision, innovation, and strategic accomplishments within the pulp and paper industry, and are the only global awards dedicated to recognizing the achievements of companies, mills, and individuals in the sector.

Fastmarkets RISI announced the 2019 PPI Awards winners at the awards dinner on March 12 in Vienna, Austria, at the Palais Wertheim during the first evening of the RISI European Conference. The award categories recognize some of the global industry’s most critical challenges; entries were evaluated by a panel of judges who independently reviewed the entries according to each category’s criteria. Winners in each category are as follows:

TAPPI conference proceedings and presentations, technical papers, and publication articles provide technical and management data and solutions on topics covering the Pulp, Paper, Tissue, Corrugated Packaging, Flexible Packaging, Nanotechnology and Converting Industries.
