Lignin Advancements and Coating start the year

For January, editorial board member Lucian Lucia and guest editor Shiyu Fu of South China University of Technology put together a special issue on current advancements in lignin research that examined this versatile polymer as a potent chemical platform for 21st century  challenges. Lignin-related topics, which comprised 14% of TJ’s content for 2019, included adsorbents, characterization, foams, antioxidants, and solid acids.
