The paper’s first author, Alisha Giglio, has been a chemical engineer working in decarbonization and sustainability in iron and steel for Hatch Ltd. in Mississauga, ON, Canada, since 2018.  Prior to joining Hatch, she received her in B.S. in Engineering Chemistry from Queen's University in Kingston, ON, Canada, after which she pursued her M.A.Sc, in Chemical Engineering at the University of Toronto and worked as a research assistant in the University Pulp & Paper Centre under Dr. Honghi Tran.
