SetPoint: 100 Issues Brighter, Paper360º September/October 2020
I have a lot of friends who are children. My secret? I treat them kindly, always provide snacks, and offer to trade interesting science facts (this is also how I make friends at PaperCon). Through my young friends, I have learned about a new trend of celebrating the 100th day of school. On the 100th Day, kids count 100 items, dress like centenarians, and wear badges proclaiming them “100 Days Brighter!” If you’ve never seen an 8-year-old in a gray wig and shawl trying to stack 100 paper cups, I encourage you to volunteer at your local grade school. It’s a great reminder that milestones should be celebrated, especially along the road to knowledge.
In that spirit, we’re celebrating this as Paper360°’s 100th Issue. To mark our centennial, we reached out via TAPPI Connect to ask readers about the biggest changes in three critical areas since the launch of our first issue in August, 2006. Our industry really does keep getting brighter, smarter, and more interesting, and Paper360° plans to keep delivering the news and knowledge readers want. To help us do that, please join the conversation at TAPPI Connect—log in and search “Paper360° Readers 100” to find our threads.
