SetPoint: Sustain/Ability, Paper360º November/December 2021
I am writing this column less than a week after returning from TAPPICon Live! in Atlanta, GA. There was a palpable energy in the session rooms and on the show floor. I believe the source of that energy was a shared feeling that finally, after almost two years of lockdown, industry professionals were free to learn, share knowledge, and concentrate on the future of pulp, paper, and packaging. From what I heard at TAPPICon, it is a future full of possibility for companies willing to change and adapt. And increasingly, it seems as if companies that cannot rise to meet this future will do more than fall behind: they will fail.
