SetPoint: That’s My Jam, November/December 2023 Paper360º

I was privileged to attend this year’s CorrExpo in Cleveland, OH. What a terrific event—great speakers, a busy exhibit floor, and fun networking opportunities. I spent much of my time recording mini-interviews for the Paper360° podcast Better Together: Conversations with Innovative Leaders. Each conference or trade show offers its own memorable moments. It can be a chance connection made over lunch, an “ah-ha!” moment during a session or keynote, or the perfect deal struck in an exhibit booth. During my CorrExpo experience, that memorable moment came at an evening networking event held at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. The museum has a “jam room” that quickly became one of the hottest spots of the evening. Stocked with a full drum kit, piano, and a variety of guitars, attendees were free to pick up an instrument and, well, JAM. Those who weren’t playing along were listening to the music and enjoying the sight of their friends and colleagues having a great time, making music together instead of corrugated boxes.
