Effects of tissue additives on copy paper forming and properties, TAPPI Journal February 2024
Application: Papermaking process engineers can face a variety of challenges, including unexpected interactions between different chemical additives to the process. Expansion of tissue and towel production to mill sites not previously dealing with such products brings the possibility of cross-contamination with production of other paper grades. Partial sharing of process water systems, for instance, can affect both the papermaking process and the attributes of the paper product.
