Students and Young Professionals (YPs) are the future of our industry, and TAPPI is proud to support the next generation of industry professionals with its Next-Gen development programs. These programs range from Student Chapters to scholarship opportunities, student job fairs, our Mentor Match program, and a YP Division focused on networking and development.

Through the YP Division, undergraduate and graduate students, recent graduates, and early career professionals are encouraged to step outside their comfort zones and build a network of industry colleagues they can turn to throughout their careers. It can be intimidating! We recently asked some veteran members what advice they have for those starting careers in the industry and just beginning their TAPPI stories.
