Essity has once again been recognized as one of the world’s most sustainable companies by Corporate Knights. The list was announced during the World Economic Forum in Davos.

Metsä Group’s innovation company Metsä Spring has made its second investment in FineCellO_x AB, developer of FineCell technology and producer of CellO_x dry cellulose powder. Funds will be used to further develop a demo production facility for FineCell technology, which can turn dry pulp fiber into added-value biomaterial that can be used as a powder or as a water solution (hydrogel). These can replace fossil-based chemicals in sectors like beauty, health care, and commercial paint production.
