I’m writing this column only a couple of days after doing a fun interview for Paper360°s podcast, Better Together: Conversations with Innovative Leaders. I spoke with SuperCorrExpo keynote speaker Jake Hall, the “Manufacturing Millennial.” Jake really knows his stuff and I learned a lot about why manufacturing careers can be a great fit for his generation.

One thing we discussed was the misperceptions about what it means to work in the manufacturing sector. “I think the (Millennial) generation has the conception of what manufacturing was, and doesn’t understand what it is today,” he says. “And unfortunately, it’s hard to overcome that unless you show it.”
