Now in its 18th year, the TAPPI-PIMA Student Summit took place in January in St. Petersburg, FL. More than 200 students from 15 universities were onsite to network, interview with hiring companies, and learn more about the pulp and paper industry. Event attendees also included representatives from 22 corporate sponsors and TAPPI.

“This is the best industry I can ever think to go into. We are a sustainable industry poised for the future,” Larry N. Montague, TAPPI’s CEO and president, told students in his welcoming remarks. He encouraged the students present at the Summit to “get as involved as you can in this event, in your student chapters, and in this industry.”
