LEAD FEED

A lead-edge feeder, such as this timed, belt feed system, introduces the sheets in register and in square.

PULL ROLLS

Pull rolls, if used, must be as large as possible and must be preloaded.

SHEET CLEANER - ENVIRONMENTAL SHIELDING Some form of sheet cleaning is absolutely necessary. This device uses high volume, low velocity air to vacuum the top, bottom and edges of each sheet. Environmental shielding must be used to keep the print system clean.

INK METERING SYSTEMS

Ink metering systems, capable of dealing with high intensity, high viscosity inks are required. This one uses a wipe roll or a pressurized, double doctor blade chambered system.
