On-Line Non-Contact Measurement of Corrugated Board Caliper, 1992 Corrugated Containers Conference Proceedings

Ben Crowley--The most common method of measuring caliper or crush of finished corrugated board incorporates contact dial gauges. This method has the disadvantages of being a random off-line test and also being generally non-repeatable. These problems can be overcome through the use of electronic non-contact sensors.
