Printing - An Overview, 1993 Corrugated Containers Conference Proceedings
Ronald Lund--This year Clemson University will be conducting an all day workshop from 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. on the fundamentals of flexographic printing on combined corrugated board. In addition to Clemson staff, there will be selected individuals with expertise from the specific corrugated print production areas providing portions of the classroom instruction. Clemson has developed a program to teach the fundamentals and to provide the expertise to handle questions at whatever depth the participants desire. We anticipate an outstanding turnout of people from corporate staff and plant management levels in addition to people out of sales and production operations who are ready to “understand” the fundamentals of the flexographic process and its latest capability and applications to direct print corrugated. The day will be divided into a series of sessions which are described in the paper.
