One Approach to Produce MWC, 1991 Coating Conference Proceedings

The paper presents a company’s product development project from market studies to some mill experiences. Pilot coating trials with the objective of finding suitable raw materials from well known to new ones are discussed. Paper machine runnability and wet end controlling were felt to be the most demanding subjects when changing the paper machine from acid to neutral conditions. Some practical experiences are discussed.
