Registered embossing for Laminate Floor Production, 2002 Decorative and Industrial Laminates Symposium

Laminate Flooring is still a growing market. The North American market is especially demanding with higher expectations with respect to the design and a natural look for Laminate Flooring. One particular aspect is the requirement for the impregnated papers to be aligned with the texture on the embossed press plate. The completion of a registered embossed tile surface needs special requirements from each component supplier. To satisfy these demands both technical and physical features have to be coordinated as well as having to be controllable and repeatable.
