Approach Flow Systems
Despite the fact that every system is unique, the concepts and technical challenges are very similar in all cases. Hence the common generic concepts have been addressed which will be applicable to most Approach Flow systems. History is provided to explain how the systems have evolved. The most common and traditional machines are covered as well as modern trends in the controls.
At the end of the lessons the candidate uses a very interactive system called POPI (Principles Of Process Interactions) which provides a sense of how the system dynamics respond to changes. All the important variables which are subject to change are made available for the candidate to manipulate and see the consequential effects on the final product.
