Online Course Description:
This introductory online course module was developed by Alabama Southern Community College under a grant by the National Science Foundation. The course module focuses on chemical recovery operations and terminology.

Learning objectives:

Increase understanding of recovery boiler operations, including equipment and terminology; what occurs in combustion of black liquor; environmental challenges; and smelt interactions.
