Air Emissions Control II
Online Course Description:
This introductory online course module was developed by Coastal Alabama Community College under a grant by the National Science Foundation. The course focuses on U.S. environmental laws and regulations, air emission compounds and sources, air treatment options, and effluent treatment (primary, and secondary activated sludge and aerated lagoon) operations.
Learning objectives:
Increase awareness of air pollution control equipment, including varieties of wet and dry scrubbers, cyclone separators, fabric filters, dust settling collectors, and electrostatic precipitators.
