Direct Postforming, 1993 European Plastic Laminates Forum Proceedings

Direct Postforming is an innovation to do hybrid postforming of particleboard laminated with thermally fused decorative materials, such as, melamine or polyester saturated papers. Until now, it was thought that these materials could not be postformed. In addition, the direct postforming machine is capable of traditional postforming of high pressure laminate (HPL) and veneers; all with superb quality. This remarkable new technology was developed by Homag in Germany.
