Common Sense Handling, 1992 Finishing and Converting Conference Proceedings
This panel will feature a twenty-two minute video tape on safe operating procedure in a distribution environment. The film was written and produced by a group of employees working in the Appleton Papers Inc. distribution in Appleton, Wisconsin as a training video for their own new employees.
Since it was introduced requests for copies of the film have reached over two hundred, there has been a Spanish translation done again at the request of others who wished to use the film in their environment.
After the video a discussion on what effort it takes to produce a film of this type and the history of the participative management efforts of this distribution center operation.
Attending the panel will be Lonnie Iris the Distribution Manager for this operation, David Recker Distribution Coordinator, and Judy Van Learhoven a member of the group responsible for this film.
