Powerful Peripherals Make Paper Cutting more Productive, 1994 Finishing and Converting Conference Proceedings
J. Marr
This presentation traces the evolution of the guillotine and the emergence of the systematic approach to cutting. A “how-to” upgrade pathway is provided, and emphasis is placed on the labor savings and productivity gains paper houses and merchants might expect when they add peripherals to their existing cutters or invest in advanced system. A case history is included to examine such issues under working conditions.
