Recent PM Winder Installation Panel Discussion, 1997 Finishing and Converting Conference Proceedings
This panel discussion will be held during the second half of Session 7, Winding II of the 1997 TAPPI F&C Conference. The subjects of the panel presentations will be a PM Winder Installations or Rebuilds accomplished during the past three (3) years. The Mill Panel Members will address issues such as: • l What were the primary incentives for the installation or rebuild? To what degree were the objectives of the project met? What difficulties were realized? What successes were realized? What unique winder features and functions were implemented? What issues contributed to meeting or not meeting schedules? How has production been affected? How has roll quality been affected? How has Winder runnability been affected? How has down-stream converter’s runnability been....
