Computerized technology in new sheeters will increase productivity while decreasing broke paper volume. Incorporating new technology on an older sheeter obtains results equal to new sheeter quality. A complete remanufacturing of an older sheeter increases speed by replacing gears and pulleys with motors, while a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) controls most functions. A computer control eliminates most of the guess work finishing departments and converting operators are accustomed to.
