Sharf U. Ahmed--Thermoplastic compositions combining crystalline and amorphous water sensitive polymers have been developed for remoistenable, repulpable, and recyclable applications. The resulting hot melt formulations provide a broader application window and superior bonding and humidity resistance compared to formulations made from either crystalline or amorphous polymers. Their physical properties, testing, and application characteristics is discussed.
